Door System did crack the nut
In a manner simple and easy, we usually find a solution to something that might look like expensive problems more than difficult to handle.
Arla Foods, Holstebro, seemed to be facing the choice of moving the conveyor belt round the wick to get back on the right track. This would entail the cost of many yards of conveyor belt!
The best solution did pose some problems
Or they might opt for running through 100 m fire wall!
The problem was that small cups are running on the belt, and it should be possible to close the hole in case of fire! So a “break” could not be made in the conveyor belt for that would make the cups come tumbling down!
Door System did crack the nut
The contact to Door System generated the solution. “We will simply carry the belt along on the door!”
Simple – but effective.
When the fire detector releases the door, the belt will brake, and a section fixed on the door will slide sideways. The hole will then be closed, and the fireman will be happy.
