The Health Sector – for frenzied everyday work!

Door System has provided various solutions for hospitals. A joint feature being a matter of three requirements: Function, space, and cleaning!

Function: Doors should simply work unintermittently. For the objectives to which hospital staff will be exposed will leave no room for waiting time from one room to the other.

Space Requirement: Little space is available for a great many people and a great deal of equipment so doors may simply not take more space than absolutely necessary.

Cleaning: Hygiene obviously forms a basic part of the everyday life of any hospital; that goes for doors as well.

So, what is still to come?

One requirement not encountered by us so far is that of design! Why not embark upon close cooperation particularly with door suppliers with a view to finding new solutions to the design of doors. Hospitals need not look like industrials!

Flat Screen Door?

Having Door System on the side line with architects and engineers will allow for innovation and new ways of thinking to form part of the particular project at a stage so early that a “flat screen door” or an “invisible operation door” will not necessarily lead to budget excess! Do any such “door types” exist? No – not yet – but why not!”
