DS800 High Speed Roller door: Save thousands of pounds, dollars, whatever on your electricity bill!!

Frigoscandia have the DS800 door in an application from -25 deg Celsius to +5 deg with more than 500.000 operations, and only two breakdown visits have been made to change the spring holding the counter balance for the curtain (cost £150). Many doors are operating 20,000 times each month without problems.

High traffic volume can cause damage to curtains by impact, this being taken care of on this new door by use of a knock-out system which allows the curtain to be put back into the guides quickly  following a knock-out.

Danish Slaughterhouse Tican, was presented to a demand to remove the thick layers of white frost at the inner roof, caused by the opening of doors and curtains throughout the day. This demand for quicker opening and closing of doors, combined with insulation inside the rolling door elements resulted in the environmental friendly DS800 concept.
