Senior accountant - with international experience
Bring your strong international finance expertise to life in a leading Danish manufacturer of premium steel doors and gates - Door System, Hørning, now part of the global company ASSA ABLOY Group.
Your role
You play a key operational role in close cooperation with the CFO in all financial processes within the brand in accordance to the standard of a globally leading company.
You are responsible for managing the full spectrum of accounting activities for the company, including general ledger, fixed assets, standard costing, accruals, payroll, and tax compliance.
This role ensures the accuracy and integrity of financial data, supports management with timely reporting, and contributes to process improvements in line with the requirements of a mid-sized manufacturing environment.
This way you will be helping the CFO ensure financial governance as the company scales its operations and strengthens its market-leading position.
Your profile
- A Bachelors degree in accounting. CPA/ACCA or equivalent certification is preferred
- +5 years’ experience in a senior finance role, ideally from a manufacturing company
- Proficiency in C5, Navision / AX ERP systems and advanced MS Excel and financial analysis skills
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and tax regulations
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- The ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Possess the ability to navigate agilely, on both a business and human level, in the interaction between a large global company and the business unit and company that you represent on a daily basis.
- Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Fluent in English and Danish at native language level
